Collection and processing of personal data
Collection and processing of personal data
Personal information refers to all information about your identity, such as your name, e-mail address and postal address. Unless you have agreed otherwise with BauMineral, we collect only basic personal information that is necessary for our business relationship such as your name, job title, address, telephone number, e-mail address and other contact information. Such data will only be collected if you provide it to BauMineral, for example when you order informational materials, subscribe to an e-mail information service, apply for a job online or participate in a survey or a competition. BauMineral collects this data only directly from you and not from other third parties.
Use and disclosure of personal information
BauMineral uses your personal information to respond to your request, process your order or give you access to special information or offers you have requested from us. For example, if you fill out an online contact form, BauMineral will use that information to contact you regarding your interest in our services.
If necessary, BauMineral also uses personal data of its customers and data of participants for marketing purposes if they have expressly consented to this. In this case, BauMineral will use the contact information you provide to discuss your interest in our services and to provide you with information about the company, its subsidiaries and partner companies including promotions or events. For this purpose, it may also be necessary for BauMineral to pass on your data to companies within the group or external service providers as part of contract data processing. For example, it may be necessary for BauMineral to pass on customer data for Customer Relationship Management purposes.
BauMineral will not sell your personal data or otherwise market or pass it on to third parties for their advertising purposes. If you have expressly given your consent for this, BauMineral will share your information with its subsidiaries and partner companies so that they can contact you directly.
In principle, BauMineral will process your data only within the European Union. Data transfers to third countries shall only occur as part of the administration of IT systems in accordance with the provisions on contract processing and only if a) the transmission is generally admissible and b) the special conditions for transmission to a third country are met; in particular, the data importer shall ensure an adequate level of data protection in accordance with EU standard contractual clauses for the transfer of personal data to processors within the context of contract processing in third countries. This is based on the provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act and the German Telemedia Act.
Duration of data retention
BauMineral will store your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide the services or information you require and for the duration of our business relationship. In addition, we store your data only to the extent necessary to comply with statutory retention requirements. Information on web analysis
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, which are text files that are stored on your computer and that allow an analysis of your use of the website. The information that the cookies generate about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Through IP anonymization on this website, your IP address will, however, be truncated beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other countries party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the US and truncated there.
Google uses this information on behalf of the operator of this website to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity and provide the website operator with other services related to website activity and Internet usage. Google uses pseudonyms for when doing this. The IP address provided by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data provided by Google.

Use of your IP address
Computers and devices connected to the Internet are assigned a unique number that is called their IP address. Because these numbers are typically assigned in country-based blocks, an IP address can often be used to identify the country (province or city) that connects to the Internet via this computer. Google Analytics captures the IP addresses of website visitors. This allows website owners to analyse which parts of the world their visitors come from. This method is known as geotargeting of IP addresses.
Google Analytics will not pass on the actual IP address information to its customers. In addition, it masks IP addresses – website owners who use Google Analytics can set it so that instead of the entire IP address, only part of it is used for geotargeting. Website owners generally have access to the IP addresses of their website visitors, regardless of the use of Google Analytics.
So-called session cookies are used on the website baumineral.de and all associated subdomains to offer users more convenience. For example, visitors to BauMineral website can continue with an order for a brochure that they have started even after temporarily switching to another page without having to re-enter their own data. A session cookie is also used for web analysis.
Randomly selected visitors are asked if they would like to participate in a user satisfaction survey. Your response of either declining or consenting to take part in this survey will be stored in a permanent cookie, so that you will not be shown this request again at a later date.
At no time will personal data be stored in a cookie.
Most browsers are pre-set to automatically accept cookies, however you can disable this setting to store cookies or set your browser to notify you before storing cookies, however if you do not accept cookies then you may not be able to use all the features of this website to their fullest extent.
